Altamaha Technical College’s Baxley campus donates food to Second Harvest
In preparation for the upcoming holiday season, which can place a financial hardship on families in Altamaha Technical College’s seven county service region, the College’s Student Organizations held a school-wide Food Drive last week. Altamaha Technical College student Christina Stephenson of the Baxley Student Leadership Council helped gather and take the Baxley Campus’ donated, non-perishable food to Baxley SunTrust. The bank will distribute the food to the Second Harvest Food Bank. To learn more about Altamaha Technical College, call 1-800-645-8284 or go online to www.altamahatech.edu.
Spring Semester begins January 9, 2012. Altamaha Technical College offers over 80 different degree, diploma, or technical certificate of credit programs at its five campuses in Baxley, Brunswick, Hazlehurst, Jesup and Kingsland.
