ATC Holds Quarterly Activity Day

Altamaha Technical College students and faculty celebrated their quarterly activity day on Monday, November 13th.  During the day awards were given to members of the ATC family who show enthusiasm and commitment in everything they do either as a student, employee, or both.  These people include, Student of the Quarter for Summer 2006, Cassie Parks, and for Fall 2006, Student of the Quarter James Justin Mitchell.  Also, awarded were Instructor of the Quarter received by Walter Brown, Welding and Joining Technology instructor and Supporting Staff Member of the Quarter, Gwen Richardson.  Finally, Work Study Student of the Quarter was granted to Felicia Darden who is not only a student at ATC, but an employee through the work-study program. Each of these people was nominated by members of the ATC family for being the “embodiment of technical education”, comments John Aiello, Director of Commercial Studies and Information Technology.
