Altamaha Technical College Honors Mickey Whittington
 Altamaha Technical College’s Board of Directors recognized Mickey Whittington on Wednesday, August 20th at the monthly Board of Directors meeting. Whittington served on the board from 1999-2008 and presided as Chairman in 2003 and 2007.
During his term on the board, Altamaha Technical College had 6,225 graduates from certificate, diploma and associate degree programs and 1,995 graduates from the GED. “Mickey will be greatly missed,” stated college President Lorette M. Hoover, “it is wonderful to have board members who understand both community and economic development – Mickey represents both efforts fully.”
