ATC Rallies for Fair Haven PDF Print E-mail

ATC Campus Communities Rally for Fair Haven Women and Children's Shelter

Jesup, GA -    When Altamaha Technical College's National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) President Olivia Linder was asked to identify a local organization for item donations, she knew exactly the one:  Fair Haven Women and Children's Shelter, a safe place where battered women and children may seek refuge.

NTHS Advisor Lynne Groover says, "Our students at ATC have a real sense of community. They are happy to come together, give back and help others."

As each client leaves Fair Haven, the staff provides a much needed basket of items to set up a household including articles such as paper towels, linens, napkins and dish towels. Baxley and Jesup NTHS groups collected household items from ATC faculty, staff and students.
