Certified Nursing Assistant Students at ATC Receive Roses

JESUP, Ga. (Oct. 12, 2011) – Eleven students in Altamaha Technical College’s 2011 Certified Nursing Assistant program celebrated the completion of their coursework during a rose ceremony October 11, 2011 on the Jesup campus.
Nursing instructor Michael Altman, LPN, presented each student with a rose during the ceremony. These students are now able to take their state board exam for certification.
Students receiving roses are Patricia Bethea of Jesup, Tina Browning of Brunswick, Katherine Crump of Baxley, Katherine Groover of Jesup, Patricia G. Moon of Ludowici, Britanny Presley of Jesup, Ashley B. Stephens of Jesup, Harley Weaver of Jesup and Loretta Whitson of Jesup. Pamela Pate of Brunswick and Etora Wilkins of Jesup were not present at the ceremony but were recognized for their achievement.
Moon presented Altman with a special gift on behalf of the class. It commemorated Altman’s first time as a CNA instructor for the College, which is also his alma mater.
Altamaha Technical College offers Practical Nursing, Medical Assisting (Business & Services), Health Care Assistant, Paramedic Technology, Emergency Medical Technician, Patient Care Assisting and Patient Care Technician programs in its Health Occupations Division.
