Culinary Open House
On Thursday, September 20th, Chef Jennifer Evans, along with her Jeff Davis High School dual enrollment students, held an Open House for the culinary program at the “Big House” in Hazlehurst. Approximately 40 people, representing 5 different counties, attended the event. Attendees had the opportunity to learn about Altamaha Technical College’s culinary program offerings while sampling delicious appetizers such as Beef Sate’, Thai Shrimp Salad, Truffles, Spanakopita, Gougeres, and Black Bean Cakes. All the appetizers were prepared by the students, thus providing attendees with a true “taste” of Altamaha Technical College’s culinary program.
