Longtime ATC high school coordinator retires

BRUNSWICK, Ga. (Oct. 4, 2011) – Altamaha Technical College bid farewell to one of its high school coordinators, Rod Lane, during a retirement reception Thursday, Sept. 27 at the Golden Isles campus.

Lane was hired by former Altamaha Technical College President Dr. Paul Scott 10 years ago. As a testament to Lane’s service to the College and community several retirees, family and friends were present among the reception’s well-wishers.

Lane served in several positions since his hire in September 2001, chief among them High School Coordinator, School to Work Coordinator, Tech Prep Coordinator and Student Affairs Recruiter. He worked for eight years at the Jesup campus before transitioning to the Golden Isles Campus.
