ATC Patient Care Assistants Ready for the Next Step
Jesup - Nineteen Patient Care Assisting Program students celebrated the completion of their coursework last week. Having finished their program of study, graduates can sit for the State CNA Certification Exam.
Last week, students had an informal celebration with classmates and their instructor, Teresa Perry, prior to the quarter ending and to wish each other well for the upcoming state exam. Many of the class members will participate in the College's July graduation ceremony. Altamaha Technical College graduates approximately 40 Patient Care Assistants annually.
Altamaha Technical College offers Practical Nursing, Medical Assisting (Business & Services), Health Care Assistant, Paramedic Technology, Emergency Medical Technician, Patient Care Assisting, and Patient Care Technician programs in its Health Occupations Division.
