Jesup, GA – Serving over 20 years, Dailene McDaniel, Practical Nursing Instructor, and Dr. Hank Martin, Vice President of Economic Development both announced their retirement effective December 31. Altamaha Technical College co-workers, friends and family attended a Caribbean themed reception held in their honor to celebrate their accomplishments and years of service.  President Lorette Hoover and President Emeritus Dr. C. Paul Scott presented well wishes to both.

     

“It has been an honor to have been associated with these two employees,” Hoover stated. “Ms. McDaniel has been a life-changer, teaching her students how to save lives, while also helping them become gainfully employed. Under Dr. Martin’s leadership our community alliances have grown considerably, and we’ve gone from serving one campus to five.”

     

Both McDaniel and Martin will return part time to further advance the mission of Altamaha Technical College.
