The first week’s camp will involve activities in which campers primarily use LEGOs®, the famous toy building blocks. Campers will enjoy three different classes: LEGO® Engineering, LEGO® BattleBots, and Online Video Game-making. These classes, developed by All About Learning, Inc. in Kent City, Michigan, will include the use of advanced LEGO® parts and pieces to learn how and why things work together. In addition to the LEGO® projects, campers will design and modify their own arcade-style video games in an online video game-making class. Afterwards, campers will receive a six-week voucher to complete the video game on their own computers. Rick Thomas will be the instructor for this camp.
