Paula Deen Move Over! 

On Thursday March 6, a group of Jeff Davis High School students prepared an amazing Appreciation Dinner for their parents at the Big House in Hazlehurst.  The 11 students are all enrolled in a dual enrollment culinary arts program offered by Altamaha Technical College.   Dual enrollment allows juniors and seniors to take college classes during their regularly scheduled day and earn high school credit and college credit at the same time.   The students started the program in August
and upon successful completion will earn a Technical Certificate of Credit in May.  Culinary Arts Instructor Chef Jennifer E vans stated how proud she was of all her students, "They worked extremely hard to make this special night a success and I am glad that all the parents could see and, of course, taste the fruits of their labor".
