Sandy Williams Achieves National Certification
Syracuse, New York -- Sandy Williams, Dean of Adult Education, Altamaha Technical College, has recently become a Certified Manager in Program Improvement (CMPI). This national certification is the first of its kind in the adult education and literacy field and signifies Williams as a member of an elite group of professional managers. To receive this credential, Leadership Excellence Academy participants must meet the requirements of an intensive two-year training program and complete a program improvement project within their organization or agency. Georgia is one of only nine states in which adult educators have achieved this national certification.
