ATC Welding Instructor Sharpens Skills
Walter Brown, Altamaha Technical College’s Welding and Joining Technology Instructor, visited the elite welding school, Hobart Institute of Welding Technology in Troy Ohio, for a week long instructor course. “It was basically a course to help sharpen skills and to show instructors what is new in the training of welding.” There, along with other welding instructors around the country, Brown learned a lot about state-of-the-art equipment, up coming technology, and new curriculum. “It was a worthwhile experience. The staff is very talented and up-to-date on the latest welding techniques, and I learned a great deal both in the classroom and hands-on.”
