It is recommended that anyone desiring financial aid apply six to eight weeks prior to the time the aid will be needed.  Applications and information, including assistance in completion of forms, is available Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Financial Aid Office on the Jesup campus and by appointment at all locations.  The Financial Aid Office phone number for the Jesup campus is (912) 427-5832.  The Baxley campus number is (912) 367-1716.  The Golden Isles Career Academy (912) 280-4000.  All other areas call (800) 645-8284.

Altamaha Tech has several types of financial assistance to help qualifying applicants pay for their education.  Funds are available through Federal and State aid as well as other scholarship and grant programs.  Sufficient assistance is available so that no eligible student should be denied the opportunity to enroll because of costs.

Grant and scholarship programs operate on an award year basis beginning July 1 and ending June 30.  Students must apply or re-apply each year in order to receive or continue receiving financial aid.

Basic eligibility requirements may include but are not limited to the following:

  be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen
